it’s class valentines time! I can still remember trading Valentine’s cards with my friends in second grade, thinking it was one of the most fun days of the year, so I always have fun trying to create that same magic for our kids. I know there are many (many!) people who strongly dislike February 14th, but I’m just not one of them. What’s not to love about a day that celebrates, well, love?
The 7 Sweetest Class Valentines Card Shops
As fun as class valentines can be, it’s also one of those things that can easily sneak up on you, and all of a sudden, you’re making a last-minute Target run only to be met with a picked-over card aisle to choose from the best of the worst character cards your kids don’t even like. So, let’s not let that happen to us this year!
Before we get into the good stuff, now is a great time to ask your kid’s teachers exactly how many kids are in their class and if there are any rules you need to follow (for example, a lot don’t allow candy, etc.). That way, you know how many cards to buy.
We started the tradition of mailing our kids’ valentines to their grandparents, cousins, and other close families, and they have come to look forward to this sunshine in their mailboxes in the dead of winter! Just an idea as you think about the right quantity to order!
Okay, without further ado. Here are our top 7 shops to buy class valentines in 2024. We hope our short list helps make buying class valentines easy to check off your list. Have fun!
No. 1 Minted
Minted makes the sweetest (and easiest) custom-class valentines at a super affordable price for the quality and designs. We have loved using them for Millie’s class for the last couple of years. It’s nice to put a face to a name, making the exchange feel much more special!
No. 2 Katie Corley Art
Katie is a working mom that creates the most beautiful custom stationery and fine art to brighten your day! Her class valentines are no exception and capture the sweet innocent love of little ones’ hearts. She also has chic and unique ideas for items to pair with her cards which we love. I bought one of her designs for Welles last year and went with her for both Millie and Welles this year because I was so impressed with the quality.
No. 3 Etsy
We love that Etsy supports a community of individual creators and has many great options for class valentines. Here are a few of our other favorite shops —
+ The shop HONEYBEAR has so many precious class valentine tags or stickers.
+ These “I DIG YOU” valentines with these MINI CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES attached.
+ These YOU’RE A GEM VALENTINES with a beloved RING POP
+ VALENTINE, YOU COLOR MY WORLD
+ I’m obsessed with these CRAYON VALENTINE — they would be so cute for a toddler-aged kid!

No. 4 Target
Because the character cards always fit the budget and the kids freakin’ LOVE them —
+ SPIDY & HIS FRIENDS WITH PENCILS
+ DISNEY PRINCESSES WITH STICKERS
+ MICKEY & MINNIE CARDS WITH STICKERS
No. 5 Meri Meri
Meri Meri always brings it with the whimsical beauty that captures kids’ imaginations.
+ BEAUTIFUL HEART VALENTINE’S include stickers and the perfect space to write a short message.
+ ROBOT VALENTINES is fun too!
+ THESE GLITTER HEART STICKERS ARE PERFECT.
+ THIS ICE CREAM VALENTINE SET WITH FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS is adorable — and I think it is perfect for younger or older girls!
No. 6 Make Your Own!
When we were kids, we always made our valentine’s cards… and there was something so fun about it, but in the Instagram/Pinterest world, it feels like that’s happening less and less — BUT if you have the time this year and your kids are into it, we say let their personalities shine and make your own. I might go this route this year, honestly! A few supplies we love —
+ HEART STICKERS — under $5 and $10
No. 7 Dogwood Hill
Dogwood Hill has the most charming class Valentine’s cards, and their quality is incredible. With eight pages of beautiful, highly curated designs, we think you’ll enjoy browsing their cards with your little one. My only call out would be that we can’t address the valentine’s cards for my kid’s classrooms, so if your school is the same, most of these designs won’t work 🙁
And that’s a wrap! We hope this post sharing our favorite shops + class valentine’s card made your discovery FUN and FAST so that you can create the valentines magic for your kids without spending hours on it!
We can’t wait to see which ones you pick, and thanks as always for reading and being part of this special community. Xx Meg
