Hi, I’m Meg — former J.Crew and Madewell HQ girl, mom to Millie and Welles, sharing everyday style, skincare and other things I love.
Growing up, my dad used to say, “life isn’t a fashion show!”—his way of reminding me and my sisters to focus on what really mattered (school, sports, hard work). And he wasn’t wrong. But I’ve learned that getting dressed isn’t about impressing anyone—it’s about honoring yourself. After the blur of early motherhood and too many days in the same gym clothes, I didn’t feel like me anymore. In February 2024, inspired by the book Atomic Habits, I made one small change: I started getting dressed every day. Not for an occasion—just for me. That simple shift brought back my energy, focus, and confidence, and allowed me to show up as the best version of myself for the people and things I care about most, mainly my family, my friends, and all of you.
Now, I share my daily outfits not to showcase perfection, but to encourage you to show up for yourself too. Getting dressed became a small act of self-care that changed everything—and it’s been amazing to connect with so many of you who feel the same.
Here you’ll find timeless style with the occasional trend, elevated basics worth investing in, pops of color to spark joy, and honest recommendations you can actually trust. I hope you stop by for inspiration and leave feeling a little more confident, a little more put-together, and a little more like your best self—no fashion show required.
