Best Hostess Gifts
Delicious Breakfast For the Morning After
I love to bring something they can enjoy in the morning after a big night. My go-to is a sleeve of Model Bakery’s English Muffins. (Yes! They do indeed ship nationwide!) I also love taking a play out of Eleven Madison Park in NYC’s book and giving handmade granola for the morning after.
Playful Tapper Candles
These colorful and playful spiral stem candles are a fun addition to anyone’s table, and we love their affordable price point 🥰. They are sure to shine in a future tabletop design — be it a special family dinner or their next big party.
Lushly Scented Candle
A candle may feel like a predictable gift, but candles are anything but ordinary if you do it right. Our go-to is LAFO’s Fresh Cut Gardenia Candle — it’s perfect.
An Everyday Task – Elevated
Equal parts practical and luxurious, I love this cleansing hand soap — because it elevates repetitive tasks to a fragrant moment.
High-Quality Pantry Staples
A great host could always use high-quality pantry staples, and these olive oils won’t disappoint. We love giving Brighland Olive Oil – its bottle is beautiful, and it makes everything you pair it with taste a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!
A Gorgeous Bouquet
BUT, send them the day after the party.
Our favorite places to send flowers from:
- from your local flower shop (in northern new jersey, we ❤️ bloomers)
- for flowers that look like you grew them yourself — we love terrain
- for a wow statement, we use Floracracy.
A Great Wine Wrapped in A Beautiful Tea Towel
Here’s a great video that shows how easy it is to wrap your bottle of wine in a tea towel. If you go the wine route, make sure when you hand the hosts the bottle, you say something like this: “This wine is a favorite of mine, and I thought you and Katie might enjoy it some quiet evening in the coming weeks.” That way, you express that you do not expect them to serve the wine you brought during the party.
