Jeans are a year-round staples with that lived-in vintage vibe — high rise, straight leg, so flattering and leg-lengthening. Jacket is new and true perfection. Excited to wear as a third piece for extra warmth all winter and as the perfect throw on and go jacket we all need as the temps warm up.

This reversible crewneck sweatshirt is such a good find — the prettiest color and that slightly oversized fit that feels relaxed but still pulled together. It’s the kind of layer you’ll reach for on repeat, worn solo or thrown over a tee.

White tee + vintage-feeling jeans = a forever combo. High-rise, straight-leg, super flattering and leg-lengthening (the kind you live in year-round). I added a new necklace to take it from just comfy to effortlessly cool, and the clogs are new… already calling it now, we’re all going to be *obsessed*. Bonus: the price is *so* good.

Last weekend I did an ask me anything and the #1 question I got was “what is your favorite white tee?” I love this question! White tees are a year round staple for me - whether I’m wearing them on their own in the summer or layering over them in the winter I swear 99% of my outfits start with a white tee, lol. I’ve tried a ton over the years so I’m excited to share my top 5 favorites and how I wear them. The last photo is the white tee I would recommend if I could only pick one ❤️

Growing up, my dad used to say, “life’s not a fash

Growing up, my dad used to say, “life’s not a fashion show!” — usually while hustling me and my sisters out the door. He wanted us to focus on school, sports, and working hard. But I’ve always loved clothes. Even though I didn’t have a lot, I felt the difference when I wore something I loved — it changed my mood. That feeling eventually led me to a dream job at J.Crew and Madewell HQ for ten years.

Fast forward to the chaos of pandemic life, working from home, and two little ones… I slowly slipped into wearing the same worn-out gym clothes all day. Not cute matching sets — I’m talking the actual sweaty workout clothes from that morning. 🫠 I told myself I didn’t have time for anything more — not a shower, not jeans, not makeup.

Then last January, after reading Atomic Habits, I made one small change: I decided to start getting dressed again. And wow — I didn’t expect what a difference it would make.

I’ve realized now — my dad was right. It’s not about a fashion show. It’s about showing up for myself. Choosing an outfit, putting it on, and instantly feeling a shift. More focus. More confidence. More energy — even if I’m not leaving the house.

Getting dressed has become one of the simplest ways I care for myself. Some days it’s subtle — a gentle reminder to be present. Other days, it completely turns things around.

This journey isn’t about dressing for others. It’s about feeling like the best version of you. And if you’ve ever felt like you lost a bit of yourself somewhere along the way — same. But small habits add up, and this one has been powerful for me.

Love that it pairs back effortlessly to some of my fav wardrobe staples - my jeans, boots, sunnies, and bag - that even after many, many wears & for a couple, owning for years - I still look forward to wearing.
