that when you see me pop up in your instagram feed that when you see me pop up in your instagram feed you feel inspired and say to yourself, I could do that too!

If you’re a new mom struggling to get dressed again, I hope you find easy, everyday outfit ideas. Or say to yourself, hey, I could recreate a similar outfit with items in my closet too! As someone a few years ahead on the journey, trust me…you will (re)discover your personal style and sense of self again. It will take time. Give yourself grace along the way.

If you’re an aspiring creator, keep going. It’s hard being in front of the camera every day especially if you’re just starting out. My only advice is to keep showing up and be uniquely you. I heard someone recently say that “trying is cool.” I love that. Keep trying!

Most mornings, I don’t FEEL like getting dressed or moving my body, but I still do it because I know the powerful shift that follows. It’s not really about the morning workout, or the jeans I put on, or the added glow from my makeup that made the difference. It’s that I show up for myself before anyone else does. And taking the extra 5 minutes to get dressed or 30 minutes to work out, makes me show up as the best mom, wife, coworker, and friend I can be for the next 10 hours.

So my big (maybe naive) hope is that by being here you are inspired to think about what you need to be the best version of you. Maybe it’s getting dressed, going for a walk, a break from your phone, meeting up with friends more, or building the confidence to go for it (whatever “it” means for you).

And that’s what I want for you because the world needs the best version of YOU! So start now. Write it down and commit to it. Don’t focus on mastering it yet, just focus on building the habit. Just try and good things will happen.

If you’ve been following along at some point over the past few years, thank you! I hope I’ve inspired you in some small way.

✨ If you’ve just found me, hiiiii✋🏻!! I hope you’ll choose to follow along! I aim to share effortless everyday outfit inspiration that’s comfortable and practical but still makes you feel put together!

It was so poignant and it captured everything I wish for this community too…that we would be a community of women that are kind and supportive and that inspire one another to do the things we were born to do.

Added this fun necklace ($58 and comes in a couple of colors!) to keep my outfit simple but not boring. (My favorite formula to elevate a sweater or tee.) jeans, shoes and bag are are wardrobe staples I’ve owned for years and that still bring me joy when I put them on. Sweater is the perfect spring/summer knit that I’ve been reaching for nonstop.

❤️ Follow for easy everyday outfit inspiration that’s effortless and practical, but still makes you feel put together. Let’s rebuild the habit of getting dressed together!

I feel like no one really talks about this— but s I feel like no one really talks about this—

but somewhere along the way, between kids, schedules, just life…
getting dressed started to feel different.

less fun, more…functional.

and it’s not that you don’t care anymore—
you just don’t have the same space for it.

growing up, my dad always used to say
“life isn’t a fashion show”
(and he wasn’t wrong 🤍)

but I’ve always loved clothes—
even when I didn’t have many, I loved how getting dressed could shift my whole mood.

that feeling stayed with me through a decade at J.Crew and Madewell HQ…
and then somewhere between the pandemic, working from home, and two tiny babies—
I fell out of the habit completely.

getting dressed became an afterthought.
something I didn’t think I had time for anymore.

until a couple years ago, I decided to try something small—
just getting dressed again.

nothing complicated. no overhaul.
just putting on real clothes in the morning.

and it didn’t seem like much… but it was.

it changed how I showed up for my day—
my energy, my focus, even my mood.

not because I was “dressed up”—
but because I started showing up for myself again.

and that doesn’t mean getting dressed up, being uncomfortable, or constantly buying something new.

it’s about rediscovering your style in this season—
finding pieces you love that fit your life, and putting them together in simple ways that feel like you.

as I’ve rebuilt this habit (and heard from so many of you 🤍),
I’ve realized there’s something about starting the day this way

choosing an outfit, putting it on, and feeling that shift.
more focus. more confidence. more energy.
even if you’re not leaving the house.

this isn’t about dressing for anyone else—
it’s about feeling like yourself again.

and if you’ve ever felt like you lost a little piece of that somewhere along the way—same.

but small habits add up.
and this one has been powerful for me.

✨ if you’re new here, hiiiii ✋🏻 I hope you’ll follow along 🤍
