A peek inside what’s new in my closet, make-up bag, kitchen, and more!
No. 1. Summer Must Have
I’ve been eyeing this striped sweater for a while and finally pulled the trigger after it came back in stock. Its quality is incredible, fits slightly oversized (in all the right places), and will be the perfect layer all spring (with jeans since the cold is still hanging on) and summer (with jean shorts and then over a swimsuit on cooler days/nights). It also comes in a white base with navy stripes which is so cute too!
No. 2. My Apple Watch!
KCD and the kids surprised me with an early Mother’s Day present and got me an Apple Watch. I was such a holdout because I have a love/hate relationship with my iPhone and feel like I always need it next to me in case school/family calls, but funny enough, now that I have the watch, it has become one of my most favorite things and even made me less connected to my phone…go figure! I’m still learning all the ways I can use it, but I have been loving it for my runs. I haven’t shared this yet, but I’m going to run my first marathon this Fall (YAY, and EKK all at the same time!), and so I’m so excited to be able to track my distance and pace as I start building my base and then use it once I actually start training. Since I’m still new to my watch, I would love to hear any fun tricks/tips you have for the watch!
No. 3. Favorite Bra By a Landslide
Have been on the hunt for a bra that is actually comfortable and does its job, and this is my new favorite bra by a landslide. It has the perfect amount of support and padding. Also, it doesn’t show through my T-shirts and comes in many colors!
No. 4. Easiest Way To Go Eco
Jen introduced me to Blueland, and we got the all purpose spray we ordered about a couple of weeks ago, and we are obsessed. The spray bottle that comes with your first order is beautiful and makes cleaning your countertops fun (find the fun people!), and the spray itself works great. The company was started by a mom, and their mission is to make going eco easy and affordable for everyone — which I love — and need. This teeny, tiny step feels really good, and I can already feel how it’s making me more conscious about how much single-use plastic we use as a family.
No. 5. The Best Daily Makeup
I recently started using Westman Atelier’s Vital Foundation Drops, and I am obsessed. It’s everything you want in daily makeup: easy to apply, light on your skin, and provides enough coverage to get the job done. The real gold star here is that while it transforms my skin into a dewy, fresh facial look, it’s also loaded with skincare actives that improve my skin’s texture, firmness, and radiance. Magic!
