Sharing the highlights of what I read, listened to, bought, and ate in September. Enjoy!
READING
I truly enjoyed The Summer of Songbirds and The Five Star Weekend. Both hook you immediately and keep you engaged but aren’t so addicting that you won’t get your ZZZZs. The perfect books to cuddle up with and unwind after a long day.
Just started Thing We Never Got Over, so it’s too soon to recommend, but @beachreadsandbubbly really enjoyed it, so I have a feeling it’s going to be good!
LISTENING TO
I’m almost finished 28 Summers and really enjoying it!! The beautiful writing transports you to Nantucket every time you listen. Maybe my favorite Elin Hilderbrand to date. I also enjoyed bits and pieces of Yours Truly, but I wouldn’t recommend it overall.
Tom Lake is next in my queue, and I can’t wait. I’ve heard it’s a beautiful love story between a mother and her daughters, read by Meryl Streep. What’s better than that?
BUYING
These dark jeans are so good! I found them via Molly and can’t get over the value. They feel incredible, fit perfectly (run TTS), and you can’t beat the under $50 price point. Grab them in your size before they sell out!
EATING
We finally joined Costco — and while my anxiety still spikes at the thought of shopping there — their salmon is incredible.
We have been making this Hot Honey Spicy Salmon from Half Baked Harvest to change up the flavor, and it’s both easy to make and delicious — an easy 10/10 in our house.
