New Year’s Eve — Plan a Party — It’s time to get excited about planning your New Year’s Eve party! What will the party theme/vibe be? What date works best to host the party, and who will you invite? Enjoy brainstorming and coming up with answers to these three questions so that planning your party is an enjoyable experience versus a stressful/last-minute scramble! Summer Camp Research — It sounds crazy, but it’s time to start your summer camp research. Talk to the other parents you trust, research online, and learn more with your kids so you can widdle your wish list down to a handful of camps for this summer.

Find The Fun — Order Supplies for Gingerbread Houses — Order your ingredients and supplies for making your gingerbread house, so you have all you need to enjoy this fun holiday tradition. I rounded up three beautiful gingerbread house designs, the best gingerbread house kits, and our favorite gingerbread house candy ideas,

Holiday Cards — Place your holiday card orders this week to ensure enough time for them to be proofed, printed, and mailed to you, so you have enough time to assemble them before mailing!

Buy Festive Outfits for the Entire Family — Take a look at your December calendar and consider what to wear to your various holiday gatherings! Make sure you are ready to enjoy the season and look your family looks their best. Today, I’m sharing all my favorite festive finds for the season.

Hosting Christmas — Plan for a super clean house. Contact your housekeeper to request an additional cleaning a day or two before your guests arrive/ host your party/gathering(s). It’s also a great time to make sure you’re prepared for your overnight guests. Here is our checklist for hosting overnight guests.

Find the Fun — Research the best neighborhoods for a Christmas Lights Drive — Some cities and towns even have a professionally made light display or experience that charges admission. If you are lucky, you will see a light show synced up with music. We’ve heard Dyker Heights is incredible, and here is a list of great displays around NJ.
