Hi friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend! Here is this week’s list with a few to-dos to consider adding to your personal to-do list to get organized and prepared for all the fun fall, winter, and new year(!) moments to come!
Let’s make it a wonderful week, friends!
Thank you for your friendship and readership. Xx Meg
THE WEEKLY MEMO
November 13th — November 19th
New Year’s Getaway — Do you want to travel for NYE? If so, it’s time to start to think about where you want to travel — and what sort of trip you want to take. Once you decide, SET PRICE ALERTS and try to find the best deals (it feels impossible to find a good deal on an airline ticket these days, but still worth trying!)
Winter Wardrobe — Take stock of your partner’s, your kid’s, and your closet — How are your basics? Classics? Do you need to replenish any of your favorites? Do you want to treat yourself to a few new pieces or try a few trends? Find a few minutes this week to go through closets and list what you need. Then start to organize your wishlist! This will put you in a great position when all the big sales and deals begin in just a few short weeks!
Start Planning Your Holiday Cards — Now that you have selected your picture(s) let’s decide where to buy your holiday cards and narrow in on a few of your favorite designs. Here are THE BEST PLACES TO ORDER HOLIDAY CARDS IN 2022.
Find the Fun — REMINDER: Plan Gift Swaps — Just a friendly reminder to start organizing your gift swap! Here are our favorite Secret Santa Gifts Under $30
Traveling for Thanksgiving — Pick up YOUR HOSTESS GIFT, pick up your dry cleaning and start packing your suitcase(s) to avoid the last-minute laundry/chaos!
Christmas — Trimming Your Tree — If you want to order a few new ornaments, lights, etc., for your tree this year, let’s do that now, so you have everything at home in time to TRIM YOUR TREE. And don’t forget the utility buys, like a NEW TREE STAND!
Home — Seasonal Front Porch Refresh — It’s almost time to refresh your front porch pots and holiday decor! Start thinking and getting inspiration for what you want to do this season.
I hope these micro-tasks inspire you to take action so you can create unforgettable memories with the ones you love the most.
Xx Meg
