Hi friends! How was your weekend? I hope extraordinary!! The weather in our neck of the woods was genuinely stunning! The perfect Fall backdrop to create some core memories.
This week’s list is a fun one. Let’s make it a wonderful week, friends!
Thank you for your friendship and readership. Xx Meg
THE WEEKLY MEMO
October 16th — October 22nd
Halloween — REMINDER: Buy Halloween Candy — Stock Up on Good Halloween Candy Now, and Avoid the Panicked CVS Rush Later. To make it easy, here is THE BEST HALLOWEEN CANDY.
Halloween Inspired Outfits — REMINDER To Buy — Make sure you are ready for your kid(s) school Halloween party and all the other gatherings/events around Halloween where costumes are not allowed/required/expected. I shared MY CURATED PICKS IN THIS POST.
Find The Fun — Buy Tickets for The Nutcracker and Polar Express — Finalize the day and time you’ll go, and purchase your ticket(s) to guarantee you get the tickets you want (and have something you can look forward to!)
Friendsgiving — Decide Who is Making What — Typically, the host serves the turkey, but beyond that, let friends pick their dishes. STEAL OUR GOOGLE SHEET to make planning easier!
Home — Get Ready for Colder Temps — Detach your garden hoses, winterize your sprinkles, close the inside shut-off valve(s) and drain the faucet fixture before it freezes. This is also a great time to make sure that your snow blower (if you have one) is ready to go for the year!
Home — Schedule Gutter Cleaning — Once all the leaves have fallen from the trees, cleaning your gutters is essential. Aim to do it in early November if you’re doing it yourself. However, if you’re going to hire someone, now is a great time to book your appointment with the gutter cleaning service.
I hope these micro-tasks inspire you to take action so you can create unforgettable memories with the ones you love the most.
Xx Meg
